Terms and Conditions Cairns Coconut Summer Photo Competition 2013

Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry.

Entry into this competition is considered acceptance of these terms and conditions. The

Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years and over. Employees of the promoter, and its agencies or suppliers associated with the competition, are ineligible.

To be eligible to enter, individuals must log onto http://www.facebook.com/cairnscoconut and click “Like” then follow the prompts as directed to the competition entry page, input the requested details, upload an original photo and submit the fully completed entry form. If individuals already ‘Like’ the Facebook page, they are still eligible to enter, and they need to follow the prompts as directed to the competition entry page and upload a photo taken at Cairns Coconut Holiday Resort. Entrants must Like the Cairns Coconut Holiday Resort Facebook page at the time of the competition draw.

The competition commences on 1 Dec 2013 and will run until 31 January 2014. The winning entry will be chosen by a panel of judges from Cairns Coconut Holiday Resort by the 15th of the February 2014. The winner will be notified by email to the email address supplied during entry to the competition. The winner’s full name will also be published on the Cairns Coconut Holiday Resort website as well as on the company Facebook page. If the original winner fails to claim their prize, a redraw will not take place. The winning entry will be published on the Cairns Coconut website. Any or all other entries may also be published.

By entering the competition the Entrant will be automatically registered to receive email communications from Cairns Coconut Holiday Resort. Subscribing to email communications is free and Entrants will receive free email updates about upcoming events and offers. Users are able to unsubscribe at any time. By submitting the entry form and photo you agree to the following statement..."I understand that I hereby waive any right to the photo that I have submitted in this entry, the way it is used and presented either printed, electronic, now or in the future. I also waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the recipe"

The prize consists of:
If the winning entry will receive a Cairns Coconut Holiday Resort gift voucher valued at $100. The voucher can be redeemed by the winner or transferred to a friend.The voucher will state conditions of redemption including period of validity. Failure to redeem the prize by the required date or undertake the prize as stipulated will result in full forfeiture of the prize.

The prize voucher is subject to availability and not redeemable for cash. Restrictions and blackout dates apply.

Any further related expenses are the responsibility of the winner

The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss of damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of the winner and their associates taking the prize.

The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Entries become the property of the Promoter and may be entered into a database for future marketing purposes.

The Promoter collects the entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the competition. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the competition. The Promoter may disclose the entrant’s personal information to its agencies associated with the competition as well as to State and Territory government departments, and publish the winner’s name as required by legislation. The Promoter reserves the right to use the winner’s name and photograph for future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter and is subject to the approval from the appropriate state and territory regulatory authorities.
