Cairns Show
The Cairns Show has been around since 1891 and has grown into an iconic North Queensland event held over three action packed days.
Roll up, roll up for everything from baking cakes to scarecrow making competitions to Sideshow Alley and wood chopping exhibitions. There's also fashion parades where you can relax in the shade and watch a variety of parades suitable for everyone.

There will be a large selection of cattle breeds on show including prime beef, dairy and stud cattle. Young hopefuls will be competing in the Junior Judging and Paraders competition so there's always plenty of action to be found!

Meat Magic will show you how to choose the premium cuts of meat, how to prepare them and excellent recipes for bringing out the best in your meat.

Visit the Indigenous Arts Gallery on the QRAM site in the Fred Moule Pavilion see the wonderful display of art from children in Grade 1 to adults.

Arts & Crafts are located in the Stockland Pavilion on the lower level of the De Jarlais Function Centre and under the Grandstand. Take your time heading towards the rides and wander in and out of these halls and see all the exhibits from the most creative people in the Cairns region.

The Horticultural Pavilion is located over the bridge behind the 4CA Fred Moule Pavilion. A large range of flowers as well as vegetables are on display. Don't miss the children's fun displays.

Around the grounds there are several bars located where one can wet their whistle. This year the Fulton Bar, the Outback Bar, the Cairns West Rotary Bar and the De Jarlais Members Bar are all serving XXXX .
