Sustainable Living Expo
If you like the idea of living comfortably for less then the Sustainable Living Expo is for you from 11am to 4pm on Sunday 22 June at Fogarty Park on the Cairns Esplanade.
It's a free, family friendly day and celebrates eco-living whether it be in your home, at work or within the community.
This year's expo provides information on how to reduce the reliance of air conditioning by using cooler building methods. If you're planning on building or renovating there'll be plenty of useful information on display from stall holders.
This event is also great for children and they'll have the chance to build the 'coolest cubby ever'!
Other displays will include arts and crafts, local food, gardens and travel. Live music, activities and demonstrations will feature during the day and you'll go home being able to implement lots of new sustainable ideas.
